What Lurks Beneath?

My latest story- about 3/4 finished- has taken a distinctive HPL/Cthulhu slant.  Of course, the only way you can actually get the full story is to check out the Amazon.com digital book in a month or two.   And yes, this story will the be the very first FULL COLOR copy!

Yikes!  This may be more excitement than the average Zapophile can handle!  ; )

Long Out Of Print!

It’s back after over 30 years of being out of print…one of my all-time favorite stories I did for the short-lived MicroComics in the 1980’s!

“French Toast, Please!” has got to be one of my darkest and most grim tales I have ever written- yet oddly with enough humor to keep it from being utterly horrible.

I am not sure just when I will be reprinting it in its entirety, but probably in the not too distant future as an Amazon “Special Edition”.

Page 16 and Counting…

The “Nose…” story is turning out to be a labor of love- with the stress on labor.  Don’t get me wrong- I love what I do!  But this story has had me kicking and screaming from page one.

It could be from the self-imposed hiatus of a few months, with me having some problems adjusting as I climb back in the saddle.

Or it could be from the cloud which decided to settle over my head for a while, darkening my world.

Whatever the case, I am still making headway, and the story should be done in about two weeks.

Now on to what the latest opening chapter panel looks like…

Let The Drinking Begin?

Oh yes, things are getting more twisted in the “I have No Nose…” story!

As you can see on this page, Zappy has decided to tip the bottle pretty hard, reveling in his self-pity.

But what he does not know is that the worst is yet to come!

To be continued…

“Nose” Story Gaining Steam!

Funny how a story starts out with no real direction, then it begins to take on a life of its on.  My usual method is to have a vague idea of a plot before I start drawing, but for this story I thought I would try something new-  have an interesting idea, but no real plan as to where it would go, preferring to mold the plot as I moved along.  So far it has worked out well!  I have a feeling this might be one of the best (or THE best) Zappy stories yet!
